In Memory of Pete

People have kindly asked us about memorial donations. Pete’s generosity was apparent to anyone he encountered, and felt across the world. The three charities below were particularly close to his heart.

  • Royal National Lifeboat Institution

Pete’s passion for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) began at an early age and continued throughout his life. The RNLI provide 24-hour search and rescue at sea, around the UK and Ireland.

  • Alexander Devine

After retiring from British Airways, Pete became an ambassador for Alexander Devine, the Children's Hospice Service who provide specialist respite, palliative and end-of-life care to families across Berkshire and surrounding communities.

  • Thames Hospice

Over the past year, the Thames Hospice team offered support and comfort to Toni, Pete and the rest of the family. The team remarked that the Rae household was one that they looked forward to visiting.
